This project uses GIS to look at environmental, social, economic and cultural indicators in the Columbia Basin that can be used to track and monitor conditions in the region. It is informative and interesting and an excellent example of how GIS can benefit the community.
This online mapping tool is so very remarkable, interesting and easy to use. Anyone with interest in biodiverity and the Canadian wilderness should explore it.
ESRI provides tutorials on how to create and embed web maps. Watch out! I will be dangerous with this stuff soon.

Here I am working on my advanced diploma in GIS. Just finishing my first year part time, I am impatient to get into the industry and start a new career. This path will lead to exciting places and a new life for me and my family…. I just gotta make it happen.
